Video and audio out of sync after f forwarding
Hey,
We recently purchased a Philips 32PFL8404H. I'm experimenting a bit with the video possibilities. One thing i've experienced is that attaching an external harddrive directly to the tv results in non-fluent movies. So now i'm trying to play my movies from my laptop over the netwerk. But when i fast forward , more then a minute, the sound is delayed and i can't get this good again.
Any thoughts on this?

Do you use a program to steam the video's from your laptop to the TV?

No i don't, i use the tv to make a connection to my laptop and find the video's and my harddrive. The tv should be running the video on it's own without any program running on my laptop

djerry,
You need a program like Tversity to stream your files over the netwerk and to set you max. resolution. You also need a router that supports UPnP. If you are streaming HD files for example: 1280x720P and your router isn't fast enough you might having some problems. Trie to make a direct connection from your laptop directly to your TV (by crosslink/UTP) and set up the IP manually in the TV and laptop. Also trie using diffrent resolutions like 1024x786 and lower to check what is happening.
