Issues with firmware update
Hello
I recently bought a 40PFL9715K/02 (germany)
I tried to update the firmware via USB. The german support page shows the firmware update 000.009.022.000, 2011-07-15
I formated my USB stick with FAT32 and put the autorun.upg from the archive (40pfl9715k_02_fus_deu.zip)
to the root of the stick.
After i put the stick in the USB port the TV shows a stick access. The TV didn't start the update process. If i put an mp3 file on the stick the TV shows only an empty stick.
If i put a 40gig HD with mp3 and mkv to the TV i can access the file structure and play some files. But if i put the autorun.upg to the root of the HD also the update didn't start.
What am i doing wrong?

The firmware in both TV now is: 026.078.000
I have tryed 3 USB stick but all give the same problem as Snecx have.
After i put the stick in the USB port the TV shows a stick access. There is no file to see, The TV didn't start the update process. If i put an JEPG file on the stick the TV shows the picture.

Try a different stick...
If the TV does not already run the firmware you are trying to upgrade to, something is wrong with the stick or its formating.

Hi,
you can also try to upgrade your TV by forcing the update via the "downgrade" procedure - try to search the forum...
