HDMI Splitter switches off when TV is switched off.
Hi
I have a HQ HDMI splitter with 1 input and 4 outputs that has worked well for last 12 months with 2 outputs being used. It is fed from my SKY HD satellite box.
Yesterday I ran in a new HDMI cable from one of the spare outputs to my existing Philips 32 PF7521D TV in another room. The picture is received ok on TV but shortly after each time I switch the Philips TV off the HDMI splitter switches off and the 2 other TV's connected to the HDMI splitter loose their signal.
I have searched through all menus on the Philips and can't find any indication of any setting that I can change that may resolve this issue.
Software Version:- IDTVZAPPER_H260.256_SW2.0.38
Any ideas?.

Thanks, tried using another manufactures cable and same happens.
All works OK when connected directly to sky reciver but that removes the ability to watch sky in other rooms as there is only 1 output on reciver.

Hi,
you might want to consider that the Configuration you use violates the HDMI Security Protocols.
This Thread will be closed as we do not offer and/or Support this kind of configuration.
