No red standby light - DCM 377
Hi,
my Christmas Present this year was a Philips DCM 377. I'm really happy with my new microsystem.
But i have a question which I haven't been able finding on the internet.
On the product pictures the standby button is red. On my system the button isn't red. The only color it shows is the blue light when the system is in the ecomode-standby.
Is the red light broken right from the start or is this normal?
Best regards

this is from the manual, seems quite normal:
Switch to standby mode
1 Press for over 3 seconds to switch the unit to Eco Power Standby mode.
» The backlight on the display panel turns off.
» The blue Eco Power indicator turns on.
To switch the unit to standby mode:
1 In Eco Power Standby mode, press for over 3 seconds.
» The clock (if set) appears on the display panel.
» The blue Eco Power indicator turns off

hi,
thank you for your reply.
yes, i'm talking about the on/off-button.
you're right. in the eco-mode the button is blue. but that's not my problem or my question.
where is the red light shown in the product pictures when the system is powered on?
look here:
http://www.philips.de/c/audioprodukt...dcm377_12/prd/
you can zoom the picture and you will see clearly, that the on/off-button is red when the audiosystem is powerd on. on my system it is just "black" or with no red light.
