Volume up and down for headphones, PLEASE HELP
I just bought a 46PFL6606T and I want to use it with my external analog amplifier and speakers. I also want to be able to control the volume of the external speakers every now and then. This is basic TV functionality i my opinion.
The problem is that this is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT
This is what I expect from a TV set to increase the volume:
One click on the + (volume up button on the remote).
This is how the software ( now I use 0.14.93.0 ) expect me to do:
Home
Down
Down
OK (setup)
Down
OK (TV settings)
Down
OK (Sound)
Down
Down
Down
Down
Down
OK (Headphones volume)
Up (to increase the volume)
Back
Back
Back
18 CLICKS!.... I'm out of words in describing how disappointed I am.
May I suggest that you add a headphones mode to your next FW so that volume up, down and mute, all controls the headphones instead of the internal speakers?
If this is the wrong fora, please advise me where to post this plead.
