Rr522
Hello everybody,
we would like to repair the very first radio bought by my dad.
It is a RR522 (http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/philips...r522_22rr.html)
Does anybody has an idea, where I could repair this machine. All local dealers are not able to do so...?!
Any help is appreciated.
Best Regards,
Christian

First of all, do not throw it away, ever! This radio is repairable and it will outlast almost any new radio made today because nowadays stuff is made to be thrown away, not to be repaired. Unfortunately companies are not interested in repair anymore , they want to sell you new stuff.
If you want to have it repaired look for a local hobby electronics club, ham radio club or hackerspace. You are bound to find someone willing to help you.
Good luck!

You could buy parts in a local electronics shop or online at http://www.conrad.de
For some exotic or very old parts you will have to try second hand websites or ebay.
