    you can start a topic at sound forum > home cinema sound forum > 5.1
    as for your case, have you try doing a factory reset to it/ unplug the main for quite a while say 1 hr and then reconnect it?

    hi toengel,

    If you see the below naming it should be the latest 2012 & 2013 naming.

    HTS = Home Theater System
    HTD = Home Theater DVD system
    HTB = Home Theater Blu-ray system
    HTL = Home Theater Loud speaker (no playback, just speaker)
    HTM = Home Theater Loud speaker with media playback

    more specifically:

    •HTL2101/F7 - 2012
    •HTL2151/F7 - 2013
    •HTL2160/93 - 2012
    •HTL2160/12 - 2012
    •HTL2160C/12 - 2012
    •HTL2160S/12 - 2012
    •HTL2160W/12 - 2013
    •HTL2160T/12 - 2012
    •HTL2160G/12 - 2012
    •HTL2160/F7 - 2012

    As for the colour code:
    C= Black
    S= Silver
    W= White
    G =Green
    T = Tangerine

    I have some strange characters on the front display. It's a new device, I have aslo tried to install latest firmware, 1.24, but it doesn't help.

    Any advice?

    Thanks for your input. I made a factory reset, but it didn't help.

    Hi,

    e.g. Home and Setup are normal - this is due to the limitation of the display...
