help, hts 3530 mic no respon

I have hts 3530/98 about a week ago, but when i connect mic in the unit, this product not respon any way, so function for karaoke not working. Whats the problem?

am not sure if you already go through these steps:

Toggles through various karaoke options. key at the bottom left corner.
[Mic Off]/[Mic On] – Press to turn on or off the microphone output. left right keys.
