I have a Blu Ray Model no. BDP3000/05 which although showing on screen that it is connected up correctly and says insert disc, comes up with the wording UNKNOWN DISK as soon as I press play.
I can find no hint as to what the problem is in the Instruction Manual, and have tried various discs but to no avail.
Can you help me please?

If latest Fw installed and happening on various disc then you have a problem since it looks like a dis loader problem.....

does it just happen on a particular disc or it happens to all your disc?
if that s to all your disc, i think you may experience a loader issue

got no reply in here from you... the "unknown disc" error is a loader issue as far as we can see in this forum...you can go to service to exchange the loader
