Connected to TV

Since my amp has no remote control, I connected my TV (40PFL7605H) through the NP3500 thinking i could redirect the sound to my Speakers that way. It sounds great! .. only, with a considerable lag.

I tried activating the direct source option, which improved the situation a little bit, only unfortunately just not quite enough. It's quite unbearable watching someone speak and only hearing it 2s later.

the sound comes out of the TV through the headphone jack and goes to AUX input. from there the AUX out goes to the AUX in on the amp.

The TV has a digital out, so does the 3500, but neither the 3500 or the amp have a digital in... not sure that would improve anything though…

any suggestions? I do realise the device was never intended to be used this way and i think ist great at what it does even if I can't get this to work.

Too bad there's no way to get this to work.
