    Did anyone install the new update?

    The last one all but fixed sound level output adjustment and I'm I don't want to have that break again, ever.

    I can't change the aspect ratio in 3d mode. I press the screen format settings button, but nothing happens, just the red led blinks on a tv, the screen format menu doesn't show up.
    In normal 2d mode is working.

    I am on 012.003.078.128 and I realized 2 problems.

    1- At 4K 30FPS the hd natural motion does not function. Even when it is turned on. I turn it on/off and no difference in video.
    2- At 4K 23.98FPS the hd natural motion does function BUT the 3D does not function.

    Since most 3D movies I have seen were at about 23.98FPS. I don't know why this works like this?

    I've a problem with netflix on my 42pfk7509.. few times a week it crashes... and i have to restart smart tv... launch app again. Lately also messages like NaN appears in timeline on netflix app. NaN / Not a Number... looks likes app needs to be updated?! when can we expect new update?
    Dont need info about error checking my tv because problem is not my home wifi or cable / upt cat6.. problem is with software on tv... This has been a problem since i got the TV few years ago :s Software on this tv sucks ass

    @0kk0 No movement in forum for so long. I would sell the TV and never buy Philips again. They don't seem to understand that a TV is a product people use more than 2-3 years. Instead they are trying to push you to buy new TV every 2 years like they do with mobile phones. When netflix update their API in an incompatible way, your TV will stop working completely and it will never work with Netflix again.

    As a not-so-proud owner of a 42PFS7189 TV, after years of waiting for a firmware update I must say this is my final Philips TV. It looked great in the store, the specs, everything. Ambilight, 3D, Smart TV including YouTube, Netflix and even Skype.

    But I am giving up, you have won. We are in 2018 now, and no firmware has been released which would make this TV usable. I am presuming the rationale is that people will just give up and buy a newer model. However, I am tired of seing every crappy cheap TV performing 7 times better than the "premium" model.

    No, there wasn't any excuse for a TV to be this slow back in 2014, and especially not after having 3 years to fix it.

    Well, they buy the TV from Chinese companies and brand it philips and sell. I opened my TV and it had panel from Innolux and chipset from mediatek tv platform. You pay for the brand name. Perhaps it is best to simply buy cheapest product in future.

    i never experienced any problem with netflix on my 42pfk7509. Are you on Wi-Fi?
