Bug adjust menu / NetTV

Hi,

I want to report a bug:

When I'm using NetTV and press the ADJUST button to change i.e the aspect ratio or the color setting, the TV freeze after about 20 seconds and resets. After that it returns to the last viewed channel.
When I enter the ADJUST menu, and change the setting really quick and return to NetTV things work fine.
Please fix this.

What type of TV do you have? What do you mean with the "adjust" button, is this the "home" button? My experience is that you have to do all your settings (color settings, sound-tone, aspect ratio) before you enter Net TV.

I have a 32pfl8605H/12. The button mentioned is the one with the 3 vertical bars. In Dutch it's called "Aanpassen".
The button is used for quick access to Ambilight, Aspect ratio and color setting. It doesn't seem stable while using NetTV.

There is new software for your TV.
You can find it here.

Perhaps this solves your problem.
If installing this software is to difficult for you, then just wait. Philips also offers automatical software upgrades.

I installed the latest firmware ( 000.075.059.000) immediately after my TV arrived. I found this bug after installing the latest firmware.

picture format for NETTV is fixed and cannot be adjusted via picture format.

there is another option is you like to change picture size for NETTV.
via option button, you will find also zoom page.
here you can zoom on the NETTV page if you like.

Hi Hansje,

I don't want to change the picture format of the NetTV interface. I only want to change the format, color and soundsettings of the selected item. For instance I want different settings while watching nos.nl or videoland.nl
I don't want to change the settings in the HOME menu, because the Adjust button is designed for quick acces.

By the way, I found out that some of the NetTV items work fine with the Adjust button, while others make my TV to crash and reset.

yes its reproduceable. Read your own Fred about SW 140.40. There are at least 3 persons you can confirm and reproduce the issue!
