32PFL6606K/02 Compatibility UPC/Cablecom Switterland
Hello,
I am very much interested in a 32PFL6606K/02 for use with a CI+ on UPC/Cablecom in Switzerland. Unfortunately the site of Cablecom state that this TV is not compatible with their card. On the other hand some sellers (and the telephone support of Cablecom) state that it is compatible. I insist of using CI+ (I do not want a mediabox).
Do somebody have first hand experience of using this set on UPC/Cablecom Switzerland (positive or negative)?
Maybe it was an issue that has been solved with some firmware update.
Thanks

Thanks for the information.
Unfortunately Cablecom confirmed that this series is not compatible with their CI+ card and that I should ask Philips as to when a correction will be available. I looked in the list of update and there is currently no correction that address CI+, so this issue (whatever it may be) is probably still present.
As apparently Philips is not aware of an issue, I am afraid that there will be no solution in the foreseable future.
This is a pity and I think a few customers may be surprised, as the Swiss national TV is switching to HD end of February, so I guess that a few people have bought this set in the hope to connect it simply to their cable operator.

Hi
i don't know about any issues with CI+ Modules. But i know that we don't have a certification for this provider, which means that you wont get a promise from us.
