Can BDP5200 connect to Windows Media Center?
Hi,
Does anyone know if I can connect my blu ray player to my PC wirelessly to access Windows Media Center?
I have Windows 7, wireless network that the blue ray is connected to, and 32PF9731D TV.
Thanks!

Same problem here...
See posting http://www.supportforum.philips.com/...ll=1#post22706
(and some earlier)
Yesterday called Philips Support NL, and the lady suggested to reset to factory settings, without any cables connected and then pull the plug for at least 1 min.
So I disconnected everything except HDMI, when to reset factory settings and before pressing OK, also removed the HDMI.
After the display said 'Setting', pressed shutdown button and pulled the plug.
After setup network I went to Browse PC and at least now it did show the screen with 'servers', but it cannot find anyting.
Also from within Win7 it does not show the BDP as audio device.
Chris.

So I couldn't get Media Center working, but can now stream from Media Player on PC wirelessly to TV via BDP5200. I guess this won't allow recored internet TV, but will video and music so for me that's all I need for now.
Let me know if you need advice on setting that up

So you can play audio/video from within Window Media player to the BDP?
That's something I've never achieved.
I did manage the other way: from the player use 'Browse PC' and then display any media.
If you could describe how you managed it, that would be great!
Thanks in advance,
Chris
