DLNA capabilities now partially broken
Until today's firmware update I could control the NP 2500s (I've got two of them) easily with my iPhone and Android through a wide variety of Apps.
My day-to-day use case is to select music from the Phone / or on my Synology-NAS and play it on the renderer (the NP2500). Apps that worked properly until today are iMediaControl, 8Player and DLNA Remote for iPhone and 2Player for Android.
The Streamium series appeared to be the only living room device that can be controlled that way.
Now I cannot do that anymore. They simply do not appear in the list of renderers.
In Windows Media Player and on the Web-Audioplayer of my Synology NAS I can see the two devices and send music to them. But not on my mobile devices anymore.
I guess, there has been made a slight change to the DLNA implementation in the firmware and now not all apps can handle the NP2500 anymore.
My question now is/are:
1. Will this be addressed with a (soon coming) firmware update?
2. If not so, how can I roll back the firmware?
Any help is highly appreciated.
Thank you,
Thomas Friebel

Hi.
I've tried the external control point function. Seems to be fine.
On my iPhone I used Twonky.
My NAS was a Seagate BlackAmour or a Thomson TG787.
Both worked fine on the NP2500 with the latest SW B16.20S.
Seems no change with compared with the old SW B14.03S ...
