    Fidelio E5 problems

    Dear Philips,
I have a couple of problems with my Fidelio E5 that I'm hoping you can help with.
When undocking the left and right wireless rear speakers from the main unit the left speaker automatically turns itself on ready for action and displays a white light. When undocking the right speaker this dosent happen. I have to manually turn it on.

Secondly, when the right rear wireless speaker is docked and charging it will turn itself off/go to sleep which disables the use of the surround sound on button. This never happens with the left rear speaker. To correct this I either have to undock and dock the right speaker several times or press its power button.

Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks

    Hello,

Please try pairing the right speaker with the main unit again and check if it helps.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Rafal,
I've tried pairing again, and also resetting to factory defaults and the problem still exists - to wake up the right speaker I have to do it manually using its power button. The left wireless speaker continues to work and wakes up/powers on when removed from its charging speaker.

    Hello,

We had a case like yours before. To resolve it, the BT module, NFC tag and housing of left speaker had to be exchanged.

So you will need to contact a repair shop as I believe yours is similar fault.

    Kind regards,
    Philips Moderation Team
