    Question during video playback from USB HDD remote control refused to work

    Hi
    The problem occurs randomly (once on three) playing a MKV or AVI file from USB HDD.
    Once the file starts playback, display still shows BROWSER and remote control refused to work.
    Playback continues as normal though no response from player and no messages on TV.
    The only solution is press standby button and before 20 seconds (about) the player shuts down.

    update your player to the latest firmware (via USB) and deactivate the screen saver.

    Sorry Oscar I forget to specify: BDP 5200/12 latest firmware.
    @Pacman I have only one external HDD (LG 2.5 500GB).
    As soon as possible I will borrow some other HDD in order to try if problem persists.

    Hi Pacman, no more test, my workaround is: connect usb hdd to pc (tversity server), access to mkv files using DLNA.
