Shutting off ipod autoplay on DCM580

Everytime I plug my iPod into my DCM580 it starts to play automatically whatever it was the last song I played. This is quite annoying, I want to decide myself when (and what) it should play.

I read that this is a feature of the docking station (sending a PLAY message to the iPod as soon as it is recognized), not a feature of the iPod.

Is there a way to shut the autoplay off?

Unfortunately, 'auto-playback' is non-changeable feature of our docking stations.
