Flash in Internet Browser
I bought my Philips 32PFL6606K/02 yesterday and tried to view an Videostream with flash in the Internet Browser, but it didn't work without flash player. Is there a possibility to view such Videostreams or is flash not allowed for that internet browser.
I tried the real player too, but same problem.
Regards
jerma

Hi,
Flash is not supported by the current Philips TVs. Even Adobe cancelled support for Flash on TV.

Thanks for the info smart.
Another way of Videostreaming that is offered on the site is the real player. Does this Philips support?

RealPlayer is also not supported. You can't install third party programs or plugins. So any website depending on plugins won't work well.
Philips TVs support only videos embedded into html until now. The TV you have purchased should already have some HTML5 support (source: http://www.supportforum.philips.com/...ll=1#post15493). Not sure if this is correct.
Technically this should be the future, you won't need aditional plugins to play a video. But until now, many websites are only using flash or real media to provide their videos.
Youtube is also developing an html5 player for their website currently.
I would recommend to contact the websites you want to visit with the TV and suggest support for Philips TVs and second suggest the website here: http://www.supportforum.philips.com/...-see-on-Net-TV
Then Philips can invite them also to join the NetTV apps. And we hope for the future to get as fast as much support as we wish
Hope this helps you a little ...
