Fast Forward and Rewind - it this possible?

Hello. We are very pleased with the NetTV service, especially all the Dutch TV channels that are now available but we do get an occasional problem where a program stops prematurely, and we have to start from the beginning again. We have tried to FFWD but it doesn't seem to work, whatever we try. Could someone please confirm the correct method for skipping through a TV programme, if it's possible.

    Thank you.

Yes, simple. When the video starts to play you see a bar with numbers on the bottom. Just press a number on the remote to choose position. That is how it works on RTL gemist and Programma Gemist. (you can not skip the advertisement in the beginning). OK button = Pause. Back button is "out".

    3 alacarta

There is a brand new video service called "3 alacarta". It is a Spanish service (Put country settings to Spain to find it). It is Spanish TV (Nice! ) But here you cannot "fast forward or fast rewind".

Thanks DellUser. The Fast Forward and Rewind seems to work best outside of peak hours. When I tested it in the morning I had no trouble but sometimes in the evenings it just doesn't work.

It would be nice to have a possibility to skip 1, 4, 16 minutes in time forward and backward, e.g. with the >| and |< buttons, which shouldn't be to hard to program....the current solution with the > and < buttons is not sufficient, as it takes ages to get to the location you want.
And doing it this way it could be done consistently, not relying on the different solutions the services providers embed in their pages, isn't it ?
