BDP7600 DTS track in MKV container
Hello,
I own a BDP7600 (SW version 1.35).
When I play a MKV file which contains a DTS track, it is not properly being decoded. It plays in plain stereo?!
I connected my speakerset (Edifier S550) directly to the 5.1 RCA output.
Decoding of DTS on Blu-Ray or DVD works perfectly. Also 5.1 (AC3) works perfectly with MKV files.
Can you help me out here?
Regards,
Naudski

Hi,
is there a difference, if you have a CORE-DTS or DTS-MA in your MKV?

Hi,
yes - you should be able to identify the audio stream codec via MediaInfo.

Hi,
I don't really know - but maybe the format profile (ES) is the problem - do you have a file with a standard DTS core stream? Does that work?
