Incompatible TV and HTS HDMI
I have recently acquired a TV PFL5405 and HTS 3560. I Cannot understand why the HDMI formats should be incompatible
TV is ARC compliant but the HTS is not. To connect the tv to the hts need the purchase of a Digital to analog converter to output TV audio to the HTS
I am now wondering why I bought Philips at all , in view of the fact that they cannot fix compatibality of products released in the same year. 2010. Is there no better solution that the purchase of a €50 digital to analog converter?
Most dissappointing however is that the PDF leaflets provided for the products are misleading because they indicate HDMI v1.4 connectivity which should include Audio return Channel

Can you fix this in the next firmware if both are ver 1.4 connections
