Best Active 3D Glasses to use??
Hello I'm a proud user of Philips 40PFL9705H LED 3D TV!
I want to know which active 3D glasses are the best one to buy?
So far I've found these two:
Philips PTA02 - and - Philips PTA516
Any ideas or testing of which are the best to buy even if it's not mentioned here?
Thanks in advance!

I also have the buzzing sound on 3 PTA516.
Will this be part of some callback action when the new glasses have been released?

Hi,
the productions of the new glasses should start this week (this is what I heard). One can differentiate them by reading the serial on the glasses - they should have a "V3" at the end. This is what the support told someone in a german forum...

Hi,
as far as I know the new glasses are already produced. Call you local Philips service and ask for a replacement.

Hi
maybe something not to mix up.
There is no NEW Model as a replacement for PTA516.
What you will get is still a PTA516 but one that has been build in the last Weeks.
Maybe thats somehow confusing to speak about new Models with the Call Centers.

Hi,
I have spoken to many CS reps in Philips and they have advised me that a new batch is coming outbut they don't know exactly the ETA. They advised to either buy the product from amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_...pta516&x=0&y=0
or to wait and call back in two weeks to get an update regarding delivery. I would rather wait for the new batch to come out, were the buzzing issue will be hopefully fixed.... To be continued...=D

I've tried to search for 3D glasses PTA517 on the net/google/ebay but found no one sells these...
Do you have any idea from where I can buy accessories for Philips TVs...

Can I use Active 3D glasses from other manufacturers?
Have any of you experience with other brands that we can use with Philips LED 3D TVs?
