    Angry 1.5yr old; split second pauses in playback

    I've had this unit for about a year and a half. Have had nothing but success with it. Suddenly I created a new playlist in my Windows Media (as always). Upon playback it's random (never the same place in the same song) where there are literal split second pauses & it picks right back up. VERRY annoying.
    I played the playlist from my PC: fine. I've tried removing and re-adding the playlist using different data cables and different USB ports. I tried wiping and hitting RESET button and re-loading: Same outcome.
    I wasn't sure if there was firmware or something to suggest. There is a full charge on the battery. Any ideas?? It's a great little unit otherwise (OK I've had problems with the navigation buttons but never sure if it's the User).

    What model number is your Go Gear? Then you can check if there is firmware?
