Hi,
you need to set up on both devices fixed IP addresses and the same subnet
e.g.
TV:
IP = 192.168.0.2
Subnetmask: 255.255.255.0
PC:
IP = 192.168.0.3
subnetmask: 255.255.255.0
as gateway or DNS you should also set up a fixed ip (both 192.168.0.1)
Try this...
