5180 noise from drive
Hi all,
I wondered if anyone has the same problem with the bdp-5180:
From the moment a disc spins up the drive makes a noise. It seems something inside isn't quite balanced anymore inside the drive. It's quite loud actually and only isn't audible when the volume of my HTS is set high. It's very distracting when watching movies.
It happens with all DVD and Blu-ray dicsc.
I can't exactly say since when this is the case. The player was silent the first months from what I recall.
@Philips; is it possible to swap the player for another (and hopefully silent) one? I don't know if this is covered by warranty?
Kind regards,
Rolf
