    Phillips shb4000

I am having problems connecting my headphones to my iPad. They have previously worked fine, but suddenly disconnected and I have not been able to reconnect. I have switched both devices off and on, and I have forgotten the device. I am still not able to get it to reconnect. I have also tried with a different iPad and I have the same problem.
I hope someone else has had this problem and can give me some advice. Thanks.

    Hi katykrystal,

Welcome to the Philips Support forum, we are glad that you have found us here. Do you know if this happened after updating your iPads?
When you are connecting the headphones, are you making sure to press and hold the phone/play/pause until the LED starts flashing white and blue alternately? When this happens it means that they are in pairing mode.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
    Have a nice day.

    Kind regards,
    Philips - Christoffer

    Hi katykrystal,

Thanks for getting back to me. Have you tried to pair it with another Android/iOS device to see if the issue persists?
    Have a nice day.

    Kind regards,
    Philips - Christoffer

Yes. I have tried with a different iPad but it won't connect with that one either.

    Hello katykrystal,

Thanks for getting back to me. Unfortunately it's not good to hear that they won't connect to two different iPads. Do you have a chance to try with an iPhone or Android phone to see if the issue persists?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
    Have a nice day.

    Kind regards,
    Philips - Christoffer

    Hi, Christoffer,
The headphones temporarily connected back up to the iPad but have gone off again now. I have forgotten the device, but although it is being found, it will not pair and connect back up.
I have tried with my android phone and it is showing connected and appears to be working. Any suggestions as to why it won't work with the iPad?
    Thanks.

    Hi katykrystal,

It's good to hear that the headphones are working with the android phone. This is not an issue that we have had before with these headphones. What iPad do you have and whats the iOS version that is installed on it?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
    Have a nice day.

    Kind regards,
    Philips - Christoffer

    Hi katykrystal,

    Thanks for letting me know.
Since it's working with the Android phone, it indicates that the issue is with the iPad and not the headphones. Please contact Apple to hear more.
If you have any other questions for us here on the forum, please feel free to ask them.
    Have a great weekend.

    Kind regards,
    Philips - Christoffer
