    Question Internet speed

What is the net speed on a 50PUS6809/12?
I am only getting around 20-25Mbps wireless, and a little faster (25-30MBps) when connected through a cable.
    ....and I have a 100/100 line.

    Hi again,

TV can handle up to 100 MBps. The speed that comes from the router may also be devided by other devices at home. That would be the question to your Internet provider.

    Thanks for re-opening the thread

If the TV supports 100Mbit, there must then obviously be a problem.
With TV as only thing connected to the router - with a cable - I can only get max 30
(tested both with fast.com and speedtest.net)
When testing with my PC, I get 95.

I am not the only having that problem, as you have already seen in f.i.

Can we please have Philips to look into this, so we can get it solved?

    Rgds.

PC, phone or tablet are designed for a mobile use and are far more versitile than a TV. Nowadays these devices are primarily designed for internet use – are better designed for obtaining the available bandwidth. A TV is still primarily a TV so it will not be as fast or have the same technology as a smart device in order to obtain its bandwidth.
There should be no impact in the performance of the TV due to this lower reading. If the TV is receiving 25Mb/s-30Mb/s then that is enough to stream 4K content from YT, for example. It is irrelevant that PC shows 90Mb/s. As long as TV is performing correctly, there is nothing to worry about.

low connection speed a whole lot of buffering on kodi

low connection speed and a whole lot of buffering on kodi
initially had no connection at all (provider change over did not go smoothly )installed vpn from playstation which worked for three days then again no connection - think provider sorted out the bad connection
finally uninstalled the vpn and got another 3 mpb speed
I paid for fibre boost thinking this would help
laptop is running at around 68mps when hooked up to cable and 38mps wireless

tv is getting around 25 wireless and 27 when hooked up using same cable used for laptop

has to be some cap on the tv media which is causing this frustrating buffering when i skip of go back i can lose the whole and have to start all over again can take hours sometimes

at least finally i know it is not the provider
    very disappointed
am going to go back to using the media box i guess

Sorry, but what kind of answer is that?
You yourself write the TV supports 100Mbit!
The TV is a smart TV with f.i. build in browser and youtube app, and these for sure are affected by the very low internet performance the TV has.
A LOT of people are complaining about the low speed performance!
