The “HDMI Audio” options are for HDMI out, not for HDMI in. As such this will not modify behavior of the HDMI in.

When you do playback by Optical disc all these formats will be supported.

So what you wanted to say, I'm gonna rephrase it, that the receiver doesnt support HDMI bitstream, only playback from BD discs can playback DTS-HD MA and Dolby TrueHD?

So you're gonna say to me that a PREMIUM featured, PREMIUM priced system from a PREMIUM company doesn't support bitstream??????????? You're kidding right??????????

This is your one and ONLY system with HDMI HUB! What is the point in having HDMI HUB then? What is the point in having HDMI HUB together with HDMI ARC????

i just wonder if you play the file via USB... will this be supported?
i know philips always says when using usb there may be some limitation, and all subject to the codec list... maybe you can try and see if this can be some sort of workaround.

to me it sounds it's design issues and learnt from other threads that design issue may not be easily changed...
