    Lossless audio NOT over analog outputs ?

    Have somebody tried to use the analog 5.1/7.1 outputs with lossless tracks ?
    It seems that the internal DD TrueHD and DTS-HD MasterAudio decoder of BDP8000 is NOT capable of using the analog outputs.
    Lossless audio only over HDMI !

    I tried a direct comparison between "analog" and "optical" with my AV receiver (no HDMI input ...), without hearing any difference.
    Philips customer service told me that lossless audio cannot be sended to analog outputs (?), but this seems so strange that I need a confirmation from somebody.

    does anybody have an "old" AV receiver connected with analog outputs at BDP8000 ?
    I don't think to be the only one.
    Or maybe someone at Philips can answer ...
