    Question 55POS9002, Panel/case issues?

    Hi all

Does anyone experience panel/case issues with 55POS9002?

Mine is bent with bumps. It is easy to see when it is turned off and look at reflections. In my case it also creates a fisheye effect when a scene is panning.

I have talk to Philips support and they say that I should not be a general case but the TV at the dealership did also have this issue.

Please respond if You have this issue or not.

    Best regards
    Morten

    Hi Toengel@Alex

If you are talking about colour, contrast, resolution and so on (picture quality), then yes. The picture quality is perfect.

As mentioned above it creates a "fisheye" effect when a movie is panning. Mostly from right to left, thats where i noticed it. Although it is very easy to see in the reflections on the picture.´

    Best regards

    Hi,

Mine is also unequally bent. The middle is around 1 cm behind the side of the tv. :/
Some areas of the picture "moves" then the viewing position change.

    Br,

    Hi Klostergaard

Thought so.. I can not live with that. It was the top model at the time. I talked with Philips support and they have not heard about it before.

Turned the TV into repair today. I will be supprised if they can do anything about it.

    Best regards
    Morten

No news other than they have started the repair. I would be pretty amazed if it is possible to repair.

I also bought a 9002 (got it for only 1200 USD).

I noticed the same problem. When the TV is turned off I can see my chair is bending in the reflection. But I can´t notice and problem with the picture when the tv is on.
