    Problems with Cloud

    Hello I need some help/advice.
    I purchased a Philips Smart 4000 series Smart TV model 40pfh4509_88 one month ago. This was bought in Spain and I am using it in Spain.
    I am very pleased with the TV everything seems to work okay and the picture quality is good.
    I have one problem, the Cloud app will not work, when pressed I receive a message "Sorry, this page is not available right now"
    I have set this TV up from the on-screen instructions and feel that I have done nothing wrong.
    I simply cannot get Cloud TV to work.
    Can anyone assist.

    Hello terry cox, can you use cloud tv already?
    I recently bought a philips smart tv and I am getting the same message "Sorry, this page is not available right now"

    Hello to everyone concerning this issue, Cloud is still not working on my television, and I think Philips is misleading people by promising that if you buy their tv's certain things will work, and they must be aware that they don't.
    I think they should be looked at far more closely by whoever is responsible for regulating these companies.
    Simple answer buy another make.
    Moderators views would be very welcome.

    Please why is CloudTV not working, I have bought a smart tv yesterday latest 5000 series.
    Philips can you please explain why its not working? I keep getting the message "This page isnt available right now"

    I am connected trough the internet, can watch Netflix and all the other apps are working fine.

    Please help!

    I asked philips in the netherlands about this via Twitter and they responded that it's not available "yet"

    According to Philips it's not their fault, cloud TV is up but here are no TV stations available only in Italia

    I have both a 40PUS6809 and a 50PUS6809 and neither of them have a working CLoud TV. I have tried connecting using Sky Broadband wired and wireless, Virgin Media wireless broadband and EE Mobile hotspot. I have even tried setting the TV up with a Static IP address.

    This must be a Philips issue or and issue with wherever they are hosting this service.

    It would be helpful to know what url it is trying to contact and what ports this service uses just incase there is something unusual about the way you need to set it up. Does it need port forwarding for example.

    I also tried al those things, I even opened up my firewall, tried DMZ, tried uPnP, wired, wireless.

    I got a mail from them and they said there is no content available, so I asked where the content is coming from but I havent gotten an answer yet.

    sure there is, Philips just has to clarify why it's not working on their TV's and put some effort into it.
