cd player AZ7482/00 - problem recharging NiCd battery.
The instructions say: after connecting to the mains charger and STOP pressed, you should see 'CHARGE' in the display.
This happens, but after approx. 10 seconds the display goes blank. This can be repeated ad infinitum, but the battery is not charged.
Am I missing something?
