    Hi Thomas,
By that I mean the TV scans for all available channels Digital and Analog and finds about 280 Digital + something like 15 analog ones but a lot of them don't work.

It select them and eventually it comes up with "station or channel not found" this happens on about twenty channels or so, for example, digital channel 8 (RTL8 HD) does not work but it's equivalent analog channel does work!
Also most of the radio stations won't play either ie: BBC2 just to mention one.

I also own a Sony Bravia and this has no problems at all, everything works as expected.

    Any help greatly appreciated,
    Dave...

    Hi

    so to be very clear!
The TV does find those Channels during the Search and will add them to the Channel Grid.
But when you try to open those Channels, what exactly does happen then?
    Which Channels are affected?

That is correct, everything is found and added to the channel grid but when I select certain channels the info is "searching" then after a while it says "channel not found"

I have the Ziggo TV-Extra package and the TV stations I can't view are as follows:

    8, 10, 11, 16, 20, 22, 26, 115, 116, 120, 131, 141, 143, 207, 231, 301, 302, 304, 306, 307, 311,
    351, 362, 505, 506, 508, 606, 612, 623, 640, and 710

I can view all other TV stations.

I also cant listen to half of the radio stations the error here being a black screen, though this is not such a problem for me as I really only listen to BBC2 Radio (which I don't get!)

Luckily I can receive most of the channels I want to view and out of the 31 I can't view I only really need about 12 of them.

    Thanks in advance,
    Dave...

    Hi Dave,

i cannot confirm this because i´m from germany. BUT i had a similar problem when i moved to my new home.
Before you do the channel run, try to switch from fast scan to advanced scan. that helped for me.
    Best regards

    Thanks for the reply DerShortyy,
If by slow scan you mean scan at 1mhz instead of 8mhs I already tried this and it made no difference, a few other posters said that if they move left and right from the channel they are trying to view it sometimes appears and this works for me but only with the the syfy channel?

    Hi Dave,

just keep it on 8Mhz. On 1Mhz it keeps up to 2hrs to complete the scan. There must be another option were you can change from quick scan to full scan. That helped for me because my cable network provider didn´t provide a network name in the past...

    DerShortyy,
I can't find anywhere that lets me do a slow scan? also when I do a scan on 1Mhz it takes no longer than on 8Mhz.

Can anyone else confirm that it should take longer on 1Mhz, mine certainly doesn't.
