Hi, where can I get an explanation on the Picture settings of my TV? The User Guide has no explanation of what these do:

  • Super Resolution
  • Colour Enhancement
  • Gamma
  • Dynamic Contrast
  • MPEG Artifact reduction



I've a had a search on Super Resolution for example and I can't find anything [apart from a post saying that Super Resolution= Pixel Plus, which is of no help to me.]

Idea: Would it be possible for the moderators to make a simple "Settings FAQ" page, where those of us who aren't up on our TV settings could get an explanation for each setting? It would be great to have an explanation of what each item does along with the pros and cons of switching it on/off.
