    Bluray and DVD

    Hi,

    we are using a 46PFL9704 TV and the HTS9241/12. Both with the newest firmware, connected via HDMI and digital coax. We have excellent quality in audio and video replaying a Bluray disk. However, if we try to replay a DVD we always get "Unknown disk" and it does not start at all. I deactivated 3D Video, because our TV does not support it. It is not an issue due to the regional code. Both player and disk have "B" and "2". Any hints or ideas?

    Unknown disc is loads of times related to a disc loader issue. If this is with all DVD discs then better let it be checked. If only with one then it might be related more to the disc...

    It should be able to play the following Optical media
    AVCHD, BD, BD R/BD RE, CD, CDDA, CD-R/CD-RW, DVD, DVD +R/+RW, DVD -R/-RW, SVCD, VCD

    Better let the player be checked and be sure that your optical media is not damaged
