Max bitrate?
I have an 8000 series TV and I'm streaming my video and music files from my D-Link NAS drive. I'm using Mezzmo as my DLNA server and all is working well. I can play nearly 95% of my files without any problems. But I do have a problem with several HD videos (mostly MKV format) that have a high bitrates. I'm either getting stuttering or a black screen. I've asked the Mezzmo developers to help me and they are now fine tuning their Philips 8000 device profile so that these high bitrate files are transcoded down to something that can play. They are unsure what is the maximum bitrate that the TV supports, so it's trial and error at this stage to see how high we can go. Can Philips support team tell me if there is any known maximum bitrate for MKV videos? Thanks, David.

Many thanks, Thomas.

I have set the Philips 8000 device profile in Mezzmo to 8000 Mbps and so far all is working fine. I've streamed a bunch of video files and so far so good. I'll report back if any problems. Thanks, David.
