    Unhappy 40PFL9704 and MyRemote: issues

    Hi

    My eq is a 40PFL9704 with the latest Firmware. The MyRemote Android App works ok but the SimplyShare Portion does not work:
    I can choose DLNA provider like my synology nas but it cannot find the TV as a render device.
    It just does an infinite search.

    whats wrong?

    Hi,

    two things:

    - be sure you have the latest firmware installed (26.78)
    - your TV is a 2009 TV and on 2009 devices only DLNA 1.0 is supported (compared with 1.5 on 2010+)

    However, the app should find your TV - but maybe your router is blocking the DLNA ports...

    it is the latest. The TV says Q5492-0.26.78.0

    I also have a AVM repeater with an audio render output. This device is found by SimplyShare.
    There is no firewall or router on that net. It's all on the same subnet.

    Does anyone know if Philips is releasing new firmware version for this TV?
