MCi500 doesn't start up after power failure

    Dear support team,

In our village we had a powerfailure of a few hours.

Since this power failure the MCi500 doesn't start anymore. It is tripping, both the fan and the display switch on and off every half a second.

I unplugged power for over a week in the hope, the unit would do an automatic reset, but without succes.

Is this a known problem, do you have a solution?

    Hi Henk Heeze,

Welcome to the support forum, we are glad to see you here. It is very unfortunate to hear that you had a power failure that has caused your device to stop working. It sounds like your device could use a repair. If you want us to redirect you to a repair shop, please tell us in which country you live, and we will be able to provide you with that info.
Looking forward to assisting you further.

    Kind regards,
    Philips - Christoffer

    Hello joacas,

Thank you for reaching out to us here.
It sounds very unfortunate that you have the same issue as Henk Heeze. If you have tried to unplug it for 5 minutes or more, then plugging it back in, without any changes, then I regret to tell you that your MCi500 also needs a repair.
If you want us to redirect you to a repair shop, then please tell me in which country you live in, or go here, choose your country, and go to the support tab of the MCi500 to locate a repair shop.
    Have a nice day.

    Kind regards,
    Philips - Christoffer
