Reformat a USB disk back to fat
Hi There
Hope you can help me with this.
I have a 37PFL7606T/12
I Installed my USB disk (Segate 250 GB) to the TV
The TV formatted it for the use of recording
Now I have put a new drive to the TV and want to use the Drive again for backup on mu PC.
The problem is that it is not seen anymore as a Disk, but it is seen as a Unit, but I cant find out how to reformat it for normal FAT or other.
Please advice
Best regards Jesper

Hi,
I assume that you are using Windows.
You need to enter the disc tools: Start -> Run (or press Win+R) -> compmgmt.msc
There you find the disc tools - right click on the right HDD and press format

Hi Toengel
Thanks for the quick responce!
I followed your instructions, and I can see my other drives, but not the seagate!
It does not show up in the disk tools, it only shows in the list of Units and Printers.
It define it self as a Portable unit "Storage device" but it does not inform about the format defined when it was connected to the TV.
Do you have any other sugestions
