HTS5590 Playback
Hi.
Can the HTS5590 blu-ray player play all h.264/avc files (.mkv)? Specifically high profiles eg. 4.1 and 5.1. What about 10-bit avc files, Hi10P. Do embedded subtitles in mkv files work properly? Also, does it matter whether you use DLNA or usb connection (regarding playback of any file)?
Thank you in advance.

Hello Gonan,
the answer for MKV is yes.
For further details, have you tried to check in the online manual and datasheet of this HTS model?

Well the manual states that it does play AVCHD, but it's not that simple. For example my friend has an LG blu-ray player and it plays most mkv files but not all. I suppose it depends on the codec specifications. Nettle, do you actually own the device or have you tested different files on it?

Dear Gonan,
as you can see in my profile (below the avatar) I've got the HTS 7140 soundbar.
I've tested only the standard MKV files and they work well.
