However, as seen from other posts about the write error. The update will not help getting rid of that failure.
I assume Philips will never reply to this issue, cause in their opinion it's a feature and no failure ?
Means, if the *write error* message appears it indicates that the USB HD is still there and has not got stolen ?

Problem definitely exists on FW 14.98, it is the only firmware I have ever had and get Write Error messages about every second day when changing channels, usually after being on a channel for a long time (+1hr).
