hdmi easy link
Hello i just bought a new DVD modèle No HTS3201/12 connected to flat screen with HDMI.
HDMI Easylink and HDMI option are desactivated in the MENU.
I can't start my DVD player with this configuration, i have to unplung the HDMI cable, start DVD and then plug the Cable.
Is there a way to make it work properly (the HDMI connector will not last long plugin it and inplugit every day)
Thanks a lot.

Dear Sparkcle,

Hello,
I've found this interesting detail in your product's manual
http://download.p4c.philips.com/file...12_dfu_aen.pdf
----------------
pag. 17:
EasyLink
The home theater supports Philips EasyLink, which
uses the HDMI-CEC (Consumer Electronics
Control) protocol. EasyLink-compliant devices that
are connected through HDMI can be controlled by a single remote control.
Philips does not guarantee 100% interoperability with all HDMI-CEC devices.
What you need
• HDMI-CEC compliant devices.
• An HDMI connection between the connected devices.
---------------
Have you checked your Dell Flat Screen on pourpose?
Could your issue be related to this point?
