Overscann problem
Hi,
I've connected my BDP8000/12 to a Toshiba TV (42WL863G) via HDMI.
When I tried to display some HD test pictures (supplied from an USB stick on BDP8000) I found out, that the pictures are not displayed correctly. There are some centimeters (~ 20 pixels?) missing all arround. Same effect when displaying a DVD with test pictures (for adjusting the display).
I tried several video settings on BDP8000 and Toshiba TV without solving the problem. It seems to be kind of overscann problem, but there are no possibilities to adjust overscann neither on BDP8000 nor on Toshiba TV.
When displayin the pictures directly via USB on the TV the pictures are shown correctly.
When displaying the DVD with test pictures on my PC they are shown correctly too.
Does anybody know how to solve this problem? Does this mean, that all DVD's are shown not completely (missing some pixels all arround)?
I've the latest firmware on BDP8000 (and Toshiba TV).
kr.

Hi,
the BDP always sends the full resolution. So, check the TV settings again (ofter you can adjust some borders/frame borders).

Hi Alex, thank you for your answer! I looked harder and found adjustment on Toshiba TV - picture size = native gives the picture as supplied. All my test pictures and DVDs are shown completly now.
