Howto disable TV screen when streaming audio through HTS?
Hi there,
I have an 46pfl9706 combined with an HTS9221. They are linked over HDMI1(ARC). How can I disable the television screen when streaming audio through the HTS9221?
When streaming MP3s through the TV () directly I can use the green button to enter eco modus / disable screen. When using the HTS9221 through EasyLink and use the audio streaming features of the HTS9221, the green button does not work. Is there an alternative way?
Of course I can use the DLNA function of the TV itself, but I find that one slow and lacking features (no album art, less video formats supported). I prefer the faster DLNA function of the HTS9221.
TIA,
Northguy

Dear Northguy,
in my case, if I'm watching the TV and I decide to listen to the radio, choosing the Radio Icon in the Home Menu, the TV screen becomes black and automatically a pop up message asks if I want to switch off the screen or not.
If I choose to switch off the screen, the TV goes in Stand-by mode.
Regards

@Toengel: Works like a charm....
@Nettle: When choosing Radio, the HTS indeed offers an option to disable the screen. But it does not do that when using the DLNA player..... Anyway, the work around offered by Toengel is the option I was looking for.
Someone should document it in the FAQ :-)
Thanks to you both
