    PS2 connection to Philips 32PFL6606H/12

    Does someone knows how to connect the PlayStation 2 to the Philips Tv Series 6000? With the Sony S cable (with the yellow white and red jacks) there is no sound and the image is greay and full of lines; I've also purchased a component cable for HDTV but that doesn't work at all... any idea?

    Hi

    the PS2 has a Composite Cable and should be also shipped with a Scart adapter:
    Click image for larger version.  Name: Cinch-Scart-Adapter.jpg  Views: 138  Size: 6.7 KB  ID: 890
    Just connect the Red/White/Yellow Cables to that Adapter and the other Side to the Scart Input.

    The yellow-red-white cable is not S-video unless the yellow plug has got four small instaesad of one big pin. Seems Philips dropped S-video some years ago. Component should work if connected to the right inputs (green, blue , red) and gives the best picture possible on ps2, even hd on some games!
