42PFL5604 and BDP5200 not working via HDMI
I got a 42PFL5604 TV and purchase a Blu ray DVD BDP5200 in december 2011.
I connected the DVD via the HDMI input to the TV - it worked for 2 weeks.
Then everything on the screen was blue and violet and the were no sound.
I sent the DVD to repair, nothing was wrong with the DVD.
I then checked the DVD on other TV's, and It was working.
I checked the TV with other HDMI equipments (TV-box and a Playstation), and it worked.
Both Philips equpments have been updatet with the newest software.
The DVD and the TV is reset to factory-setting
The HDMI cable is changed.
But I still dont have any sound and the screen is still blue/violet, when the DVD is connected to the TV via HDMI.
Any suggestions to fix the error?

Hi
well what you explain is pretty much a Cable Issue.
So please make sure you really use a 1,5m High Speed USB Cable.
If that does not help, contact the local Call Center:
