    Impossible to program weekly repeated recordings on 42PDL7906K ?

    My wife wants me to record here favorite tv show, which runs every Friday at the same time and I cannot find a way to do this with this very expensive Philips TV 42PDL7906K. My cheap 50 euro DVB-T Settop box does it, of course.

    Is there any way to program some weekly recording??

    It also seems impossible to program any recordings that run later than about 10 days ahead. If I go 2 or 3 weeks on holiday its not even possible to program recordings for the whole holiday.

    USB Recording like this is a completely useless function!

    Is there any way to circumvent these restrictions? For example by developing my own Net TV apps? I am a software developer.

    sorry but there is no option to change that kind of behavior.
    Sure you can apply your own App to NetTV.
