HTS7140 Disc Stuck

Hi, new to the forum, am hoping someone can help. I have a disc stuck in the HTS7140 and no matter what I do I cant get it out. is there a force eject of any kind? its driving me crazy.

i have a mbd3000 before and have my disc stuck inside...
trying to take the disc out myself with a screwdriver, but then i hv stretched it quite significantly that a stretch is clearly seen on my device... what a pity... so i highly recommend to go to service for this instead

problem solved. upgraded the firmware, did a restart and bam. disc ejected.

Dear Primus,

I've never experienced such problem with my HTS and the previous fw releases.

Are you sure that is not an hardware issue of your HTS7140?

After the last fw upgrade, have you tried to insert/eject the disk several time?

Does the problem happen anymore?

not sure what the problem was, but the disc was firmly stuck, had tried everything and nothing worked until I upgraded the firmware, then it just worked. the drive is a bit slow reading discs still but at least it reads and doesnt get them stuck.
