    BDP 9600 power button flashing

    Dear users,
    Although i have examined 9600 in depth, yesterday my mind just stopped and so i need your help;
    Is it normal for the red illuminated power button of the player to flash for six times when we turn on the device?
    Mine does so, until the PHILIPS logo appears on the screen and works 100% fine.
    The problem is that i had never paid attention to/or remember this flashing and yesterday it seemed very strange to my eyes.
    Is it OK?
